Effie May formerly worked as an environmental educator, teaching kids about marine life and forest ecology. Trading in her campfires stories for pen-to-paper, she is putting her nature background to good use in her upcoming book about a fearful little acorn!

Whether it's a silly tale about a quirky house cat or a narrative about forest creature shenanigans, Effie May loves sharing stories with kids.

If not working on a children's book, Effie May is a big fan of hunting down ice cream in her freezer, and playing with her cat, Hallie!
